Student Welfare & Safeguarding Advisor – SEND & High Needs Responsibility


The successful candidate will work within the Student Services department, Safeguarding, Welfare and Engagement team, to Safeguard Students and provide mental health and well-being support to meet demand. You will work closely with internal departments, curriculum and external organisations to ensure that vulnerable students are afforded the same opportunities as other students


The successful applicant will have a minimum of 5 GCSEs (grades A-C, including English and maths) or equivalent, educated to Level 3 or above in a relevant subject, as well as have a Level 2 Safeguarding qualification (or willing to work towards this within an agreed timeframe). A Youth Worker qualification is desirable


18.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year
