Peterborough College and Stamford College, part of Inspire Education Group (IEG), are thrilled to be at the forefront of the transformative educational T-Level journey with Foundation T Level programmes debuting this September. Currently, both campuses are offering Early Years Foundation programmes, whilst Stamford College are offering Electrical Installation and Plumbing.

For students, these foundation programmes will confidently equip them with the skills and knowledge necessary to access the full T Level programmes and set the stage for rewarding careers. The T Level Foundation Year offers a bridge to a brighter future for students of all backgrounds.

Emma Hill, Head of Faculty for Technical and Modern Construction Skills, is excited about the introduction of the new programmes. “I’m really thrilled about our new Foundation T Level courses at our Colleges. These programmes are a big step for our students, setting them on the path to success in T Levels. We’re giving them the essential skills and confidence they need for a bright future in construction and technical fields.”

The T Level Foundation Year offers several benefits for students as they embark on their educational journey. Firstly, it serves as the crucial first step in a three-year path leading to the attainment of a nationally recognised qualification. This initial programme provides students with introductory knowledge and practical skills, equipping them with a solid foundation that is essential for success both in T Levels and in the workplace.

Additionally, the program focuses on enhancing students’ industry-relevant English, Maths, and digital skills. The T Level Foundation Year offers a boost in students’ confidence levels through personal development opportunities and tailored support. It allows students to explore and gain a comprehensive understanding of the diverse range of T Levels available and the various progression paths they can follow, helping them make informed choices about their future education and career.
