Inspire Education Group’s (IEG) CEO, Rachel Nicholls, was thrilled with the opportunity to show support of the Armed Forces by pledging IEGs commitment to be an armed forces friendly organisation by signing of a covenant.

Rachel said, “I am delighted to sign the Armed Forces Covenant on behalf of IEG. We already do so much to engage with, and support the Armed Forces in particular the Royal Air Force with the work we do in regard to our Air and Defence College across both Stamford and Peterborough Colleges and signing the covenant makes  clear our commitment, as a group, to developing our partnership even further”.

This covenant shows IEGs’ ongoing commitment to helping members of the Armed Forces, through education at our colleges and university, as well as wider support in the Stamford and Peterborough communities. Rachel commented, “We are committed to offering opportunities to military personnel who are about to leave the armed forces as well as potential employment opportunities as they start their new careers.  We recognise the extra support that young people in military families might need and work hard to ensure these students achieve their potential”.

IEG is excited to join the Armed Forces Covenant, and continue to grow our already established support systems for the Armed Forces communities. To find out more about the Armed Forces Covenant, and what it means to be a part of, click here: https://www.armedforcescovenant.gov.uk/about/
