We need a highly motivated individual to lead our expanding Computing provision and ensure a curriculum that is both contemporary and exciting.

Within this role you will teach a range of level 4 – 6 courses across in HE and assume a lead on the Computing degree programmes. You will be involved in Delivering high quality teaching and learning whilst guiding and supporting learners, providing pastoral support and care, providing appropriate assignment material for each programme, and developing our contextual learning, Monitoring the progress, retention and achievement of learners, Maximising learner recruitment for HE courses.
Your key motivation would be Improving the progression rate of learners from FE to HE, engaging in the development strategy for UCP in response to the changing HE landscape which includes the introduction of blended learning, interdisciplinary learning and the development of employer responsive arts provisions.
A Level 7 or above qualification in a relevant subject area is essential, as is a teaching qualification at Level 5 or above. However, we also welcome applications from professionals with current sector experience who are looking to become qualified HE lecturers and would be open to achieving these qualifications.
