Located across the beautiful historic town of Stamford and the vibrantly diverse city of Peterborough, Inspire Education Group (IEG) was formed in August 2020 from the merger of Peterborough Regional College and New College Stamford. Our group also incorporates University Centre Peterborough and delivers commercial training for both local and national employers through our award-winning commercial enterprises which include Stamford Gas Training, MOT Training Centre and Anglia Professional Training.

We are a large employer in the region, with around 1,250 employees who devote their time and energies for the benefit of around 13,500 students studying full-time qualifications, part-time courses, university-level education, and employment as an apprentice. Our university-level provision at University Centre Peterborough (UCP) was established fifteen years ago and is now a wholly-owned subsidiary of the group with programmes of learning approved by the Open University, Pearson and Bishop Grosseteste University Lincoln.

This would be an excellent career development opportunity for someone with an ambition to further develop their leadership skills. As a newly merged college and therefore seen as a new organisation by Ofsted, we confidently self-assess as a ‘good,’ provider. Our recent monitoring report is further evidence of the quality of our provision and our current performance as a newly merged college group. Now is the time to press home our ambition to be an outstanding college group and this is where you might come in.
