Job Overview

The Estates team are responsible for the delivery of services that ensure the physical environments provided to employees, students and visitors support the provision of an outstanding learning experience.

The role will involve advising on H&S legislation and undertaking H&S management audits and tasks such as risk assessment approval, return to work risk assessments, accident investigation and staff and student inductions. You will be part of the Groups environment and sustainability agenda and help to reduce waste disposal and to support the department in the implementation of Estates related projects.

The postholder will also advise the Group Director of Estates, Facilities and Health and Safety on all health and safety matters including legislation, accident investigations and insurance reports, and will service the H&S Committee.

The role also involves being a key member of Inspire Education Groups (IEG’s) secondary response team in the event of an emergency.

 

Normal working hours of 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Thursday, 8.30am to 4.30pm Friday
