Job Overview

We need a highly motivated individual to lead our expanding Computing provision and ensure a curriculum that is both contemporary and exciting. If you are looking for a new challenge and would like to utilise your skills and experience whilst developing your own career, this role will be both rewarding and fulfilling. You will pass on your specialist knowledge and develop skills for the future. Within this role you will teach a range of level 4 – 6 courses across in HE and assume a lead on the Computing degree programmes. You will be involved in Delivering high quality teaching and learning whilst guiding and supporting learners, providing pastoral support and care, providing appropriate assignment material for each programme, and developing our contextual learning, Monitoring the progress, retention and achievement of learners, Maximising learner recruitment for HE courses.

Qualifications

Qualified to Level 6 or above in a computer related subject as well as a Level 5 or above teaching qualification and a minimum of Level 2 Literacy and Numeracy

Schedule

37 Hours – Normal working hours of 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Thursday, 8.30am to 4.30pm Friday

Holiday

48 days paid holiday. This includes 8 bank holidays and 3 concessionary days

Pension

23.8% employer contribution through Teachers Pension Scheme
