Due to recent increasing demand for nursery places at our ‘OUTSTANDING’ setting we are currently seeking a Nursery Nurse to work at our busy and diverse on-site Nursery on a temporary basis.
Within this role you will work as part of a team providing a full range of stimulating activities for children, ensuring each child’s individual needs are met. You will also develop a positive relationship with parents/carers and other staff, including being a Key Person and carrying out both developmental activities and care routines.
To help the Room Leader ensure a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for children placed in the nursery, particularly within the age range of children in the room.
The successful candidate will hold a Level 2 childcare qualification and a good level of general education including Level 2 qualifications in English and maths.
You will also need previous experience of working with children aged 0-5 years. Additional training in first aid, food hygiene and safeguarding would be beneficial, however could be provided. This role requires flexibility and enthusiasm, as well as a passion to see children achieve their potential.
The position is for 36 hours per week, Monday – Friday, with hours between 8.00 and 6.00pm, term time only.

Normal working hours of 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Thursday, 8.30am to 4.30pm Friday
