UCP is part of IEG group. Higher Education provision operates at Stamford and Peterborough. This role supports widening participation activity in collaboration with a number of partners.
The role will provide administrative/ project support to a HE Engagement Officer based at Peterborough in the day-to-day running of the widening participation project within the colleges. This aims to increase the progression to HE among students from lower socio-economic backgrounds and under-represented groups. They will also work closely with Lincs Higher. Their main base will be Stamford but there will be times that attendance at Peterborough is required.
The post holder will be passionate about promoting and broadening access to Higher Education (HE) alongside possessing excellent administration skills. This position includes a variety of activities and schemes that will need to be organised, implemented and monitored for a successful outcome and funding. The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate the aforementioned skills as well as being a good team player and communicator.
Candidates require a minimum of Level 2 Literacy and Numeracy (GCSE English Language and Maths (Grade C/4 or above) or other Level 2 equivalent qualifications. It is desirable that candidates be educated to Degree level or equivalent and have a Level 3 administration qualification.
18.5 hours per week, 34 weeks per year

Normal working hours of 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Thursday, 8.30am to 4.30pm Friday
