Inspire Education Group Appoints Julia Bates as new ‘Chief Curriculum Officer’ to Enhance IEG Growth Strategy

Inspire Education Group is delighted to announce Julia Bates as our new Chief Curriculum Officer. Her proven strategic leadership and experience in skills and further education align perfectly with our vision, mission, and commitment to outstanding, inclusive and innovative education and skills training.

Working alongside CEO Rachel Nicholls Julia will spearhead our curriculum’s strategic development, focusing on the dynamic needs of our learners and skills needs of employers. Her initiatives will guarantee our curriculum evolves to stay future-focused, remains fully inclusive and offering accessible skills training and education for everyone.

Julia’s own journey through FE has profoundly shaped her career, gaining a BA PGCE Teaching and Learning and MA in Teaching and Learning while working in the  sector since 1990.

Julia says, “I’m thrilled to join Inspire Education Group as Chief Curriculum Officer. The group’s commitment to quality, inclusivity and meeting diverse stakeholder needs strongly aligns with my own values – professionalism, inclusivity and a relentless drive for student success.”

The Chief Curriculum Officer role is the latest appointment in IEG’s growth strategy and demonstrates a substantial commitment and investment from the Group in bridging the gap between the classroom and industry. Julia’s appointment will therefore be pivotal to forging strategic partnerships, expanding opportunities for both students and employers and enhancing the Group’s local, regional, and national presence.
