Inspire Education Group Celebrates Stellar Results Day with over 478 Students Progressing to University

Students across Inspire Education Group are celebrating their results today, with 478 students from Stamford and Peterborough Colleges progressing to university study this autumn, following exceptional A Level and diploma results.

Phenomenally, 1 in 2 students at Inspire Education Group (IEG) are celebrating high grades of A* to B in A Levels and D*D*D* to DDM equivalent in Diploma equivalent qualifications.

Among the successful students receiving their results today is Alex Potts who achieved 3 A* grades in Biology, Maths and Chemistry. She said:

‘Studying A Levels at College has been brilliant. I couldn’t be more thankful to my teachers, I couldn’t have done it without them. They give you the support you need to push you to achieve your very best.’

Alex is delighted to have been accepted into Manchester University to study Medicine in September.

Leila Poyser secured AAA in English, Media and Law and is now heading to University of East Anglia to study Speech and Language. 

Many students flourish in the flexibility of the College learning environment. Logan Woudberg who was delighted with his AAB in Physics, Maths and Chemistry said:

"It feels a lot more independent and you’re given more freedom”, Logan explained. “It really teaches you self-discipline and how to manage your workload, which comes in really useful for future study or employment".

Daisy Terry secured ABC in their A Level results and is now progressing to study Maths at University of East Anglia. 

Students who have studied diploma courses at Peterborough and Stamford Colleges also collected their results. Equivalent in value to A Levels, diplomas are accepted by 95% of universities, giving our students an excellent start to their future careers. 

Mai Frost from Peterborough College achieved D*D*D* in Art & Design, and is now off to study BA Technical Arts for Theatre and Performance at University of the Arts London. She added, “What stood out to me was the personalised guidance provided by the lecturers; they genuinely care about your future and offer valuable recommendations for university courses that align with your interests and goals.”

Patrick Wadsworth achieved DDD and is now going on to study Physics with Astrophysics at Keele University. Patrick commented, “Peterborough College helped build my confidence in presenting to large groups and developed my skills in analysing data, problem-solving, and writing detailed, professional lab reports."

Sinead Abbott achieved D*D*D* in Music at Peterborough College, and is now going on to study Music Performance at Goldsmiths, University of London. Sinead said “I’m really grateful for everything my lecturers and the Music department have done for me. I really enjoyed my time at College and would recommend this course to anyone who wants to start a career in Music!”

Angela O’Reilly, Vice Principal of Curriculum and Quality, was full of praise, sharing, “The outstanding results not only showcase the dedication and hard work of the students, but also affirm IEG’s mission to empower learners for success in their academic pursuits and beyond.
