Over 900 IEG Staff Attend Annual Staff Conference Hosted at Kingsgate Conference Centre in Peterborough

Inspire Education Group (IEG), which includes Peterborough College, Stamford College, and University Centre Peterborough, wrapped up its big Annual Staff Conference and Awards Ceremony at the Kingsgate Conference Centre in Peterborough.
The event brought together over 900 staff members from across the Group, making it a great opportunity for collaboration, celebration, and professional growth.
Rachel Nicholls, CEO of Inspire Education Group, described the conference as a pivotal opportunity to reflect on achievements and chart the course for future growth. "This conference provided a dynamic platform to address the evolving needs of our diverse student body and equip our team with the insights necessary to navigate an ever-changing educational landscape," she remarked.
The conference featured a robust lineup of speakers to foster a culture of innovation and excellence within IEG. Keynote speaker Dr Paul Redmond, a renowned expert in generations X, Y, Z, and the graduate labour market delivered an insightful presentation on building and motivating multi-generational teams in today's workplace.
Suzie Lavington from Art of Brilliance captivated attendees with strategies to enhance self-esteem and confidence, encouraging them to embrace new challenges. Tammy Banks shared her inspiring personal journey, highlighting the profound impact of kindness and values-driven leadership.
David Pennell, Chair of the Corporation, concluded the conference with an empowering closing speech, stressing the importance of leadership and teamwork in driving IEG's continued success.
"This conference not only celebrates our achievements but reinforces our commitment to delivering exceptional educational experiences," said Rachel Nicholls. "We leave energised and inspired, ready to empower our students and communities for future success."
A highlight of the event was the IEG Staff Excellence Awards, recognising outstanding contributions across categories such as teaching, student support, business support, digital innovation, and community engagement.
